Grammie Comes to Visit!

It was SO FUN to have Grammie come to visit! We had some fun adventures, and just time to relax at home. (And Mom let me nap often too! Hallelujah!)
The first order of business was to have Lilly try on her Halloween costume that Grammie helped buy items for. A flamingo! Abby had to try too, of course. So stinkin' cute!

Grammie was able to come to Lilly's school orientation too. Unfortunately, my timing was wrong and we were an hour late. However, that played to our advantage, as we got a private tour!
Lilly and her teacher, Ms. Millili!

Lilly's Classroom:

The Kindergarten section in the library and  the gym:

And the little Otter Lilly found in the animal toys in her classroom. She just had to take a picture for Daddy!

It was so wonderful to see where Lilly would be spending her time from 8:30am to 2:50pm. Yes - a full day for Kindergarten!
Grammie also found some time to relax at times... although the girls still wanted to be close!

And the girls and I were silly while she rested...

Frozen yogurt is a must when Grammie visits!

We were SO EXCITED that we were all able to go to the Philadelphia Temple Open House together! It was breathtakingly beautiful, and such a peaceful place. I love the temple!

Waiting to start the tour...

So beautiful!

We have our special booties on to keep the floor inside clean!

After the tour, we were able to go to the visitors center and see the Christus Statue. Lilly hugged it when she saw it was Jesus and he had owies in his hand and feet. What a precious experience to have all together as a family!

Chocolate is also a must when Grammie visits... And this was one thin pretzel covered in chocolate. This girl knows how to make a mess!

We were so excited to take Grammie to Alverthrope Park!

Lilly's First Day of School!!!

Abby was in mourning after we dropped Lilly off...so sad!

Reunited! Abby was sooo happy!

We are excited for when Grammie can come and visit again!
