Married Student Campout!

Jason and I went on a married student Campout through BYU-Idaho. It was put on by some classmates of Danika in one of her classes. We had tons of fun!!! Here's a video and some pictures from our trip!

So I had some problems getting this picture on here, but this is what the hidden oasis looked like. Sorry it's not in order!

It was a bumpy ride to get to the hidden oasis.

This is us on the van ride to the location!

Making our sleeping spot official!

We did team-building activities, and this is the one with the spiderweb. Each person has to go through a different hole without touching the web. Jason was on the other side ready to carry me through (that's me going through)!

This is everyone that went on the campout. YAY! The little valley we stayed in is right behind us, down below.

Lee and Danika are on the left...he he he... Everyone pretty much fell asleep on the way home; except our driver Justin (thank goodness).

Tossing the Bouquet!

Sarah was the only one left. She had a destiny ahead of her... Matt was relying on her to catch this bouquet - for them.

Thank goodness she caught it! Now she and Matt can get married. YAY!

Making cookies!

So the directions didn't tell me what to do for high elevations! I blame the poorly written directions.... LOL... They actually didn't taste too bad though! Needless to say, it was a waste of our M&M's and cookie ingredients. At least the M&M's were regular and not peanut. That would have been a TOTAL waste...

so many countdowns!

A new week dawns warm and dry here in Rexburg, Idaho. Lindsay and I are all settled into our first apartment--as of today, we've been married for 86 days. We are now counting down the days--eight--until we are in California with the Barry-Snook Family. We are most looking forward the new arrival, being with the family (including Lelu), and checking out apartments in Chico. We will be there from June 24th thru July 23rd. We are both excited for Emily to be here for Fall Semester, the Mower Family Christmas in Seaside and Gresham, and to be moving to Chico in December.
