I've slacked on the blog posts! A couple of weeks ago, the family had our traditional Fort Bragg camping trip on the Northern California coast. Being 8 months pregnant and camping was a bit of a challenge, but with Jason's superb planning of things to bring for comfort, I was pretty well taken care of. Unfortunately, I had an ear infection and had to go to the Emergency Room (no Urgent Care Centers), so missed out on one of the most anticipated parts of the trip - Sand Dollar Beach. I was grateful to have Jason by my side, but wished we both could have gone with the family to the beach. So Jason, being the amazingly thoughtful person that he is, decided that we should go there by ourselves on the last evening of the camping trip. While there, he took some amazing pregnancy pictures! The pictures that have both of us in them were made possible by Jason's brilliant ingenuity. He used one of the huge rocks on the beach to position the camera in just the right place, set the timer, then run to me and pose for the pictures. They turned out so beautifully! Here are some of the pictures... I am 32 weeks and 3 days pregnant in the pictures...

I love how the last picture forms a heart between our heads!
It was so wonderful to be with Jason and Esme (and Lilliana!) at Sand Dollar Beach (also known as Ten Mile), since we missed out on the family trip there. We made some special memories!
After leaving Sand Dollar Beach, we headed to McKerricher Beach. On our Honeymoon, we spent our first Family Home Evening together on this beach watching the sun set and talking. We re-created this experience, but with Lilliana and Esme this time. Here are some of the pictures!

Another special memory made all together! It was a great camping trip (despite the two days of rain - while tent camping...), and it ended on a great note.
I am so grateful for Jason and our life together. We are so excited for Lilliana to be here soon!!!
