The first picture is a picture of Lindsay in the wheat field leading to the only remaining
The next one is of Carol and I evaluating a moose hide and skeleton that we happened upon. Yep, it was pretty cool--probably 'the find/treasure' of the trip.
The third is from inside the supposed Herbert General Store, the outside is shown above in the first picture.
The next, Lindsay cruisin' back through the hot dry wheat field toward the Subaru.
Swimming at Monkey Rock was surprisingly cold for August, very refreshing.
Now turning to the future, Lindsay and I both are looking forward to Dad, Mom, and Saren bringing Emily over to Rexburg for the coming Fall Semester. It's going to be so fun to have Emily here!! Lindsay and I have already talked about a Mower Family Sunday Dinner tradition in addition to movies in the Theater Room and Emily doing her laundry at our casa and spending the night when she wants. Yes, these next few months are going to be neat indeed.
(btw: that took me FOREVER to figure out how to get the words and pictures in the margins that I wanted... but I think that I have it now :)
FYI: I reported to the MTC 3 years and 7 months ago from today. ...that's half of Saren's lifetime ago!

Who knew there was such cool stuff to see near Rexburg?! The "swimmin hole" looks especially fun. Thanks for the cool pictures. And thanks to Mr. Takalo for teaching how to take the pictures.
